Power Supply = SMPS = PSU(Power Supply Unit)!! The Box @ the back of CPU where you insert the power cord

also i need to ask dat I found all over the net that ATI & Nvidia are the two main manufacturers for graphics cards...but many sites I came across had some other companies as manufacturer like Palit, Zotac, XTX etc. for the same models... y is it so...

ATI 'n NVIDIA - Graphics processing units(GPU) provider (like FIAT provides engines for most of the cars)
Sapphire,Palit,XFX,Zotac,Powercolor,MSI,Asus etc. - Manufacture graphic cards based on those GPU's (e.g. Maruti etc.)
