friends,
any one aware of how NPS scheme operates.. After received the PRAN number... how to initiate investment and how to get the proofs for incometax proof submission ?

What is the difference between National Pension Scheme (NPS) and Atal Pension Yojna (APJ)

Can I join both National Pension Scheme (NPS) and Atal Pension Yojna (APJ) at a time?

What are the tax benifits ? at the age of 60 the amount which i will receive is taxable or not ?


or should go with LIC (suggest any good saving scheme)

NPS deposited thru your employer is tax attractive. 10% of your basic + DA can be deposited without ceiling under 80CCD. In addition, you can also contribute upto Rs.50,000 p.a as voluntary contribution. This amount is tax free under 80 CCD (2).
